Tinos one of the Cycladic islands in Greece. It is easily reached by a 2 hour ferry ride from the port of Rafina, just 25 mins from Athens airport.

For a long time Tinos was a chosen island for Greek pilgrims to visit the sacred shrine of Panagia Evangelista the majestic church of Tinos. If you visit the island around 15th August you will witness an amazing site and the island will be full of pilgrims to the church.
