Sweets & Pastries in Greece

If you are considering your move to Greece getting to know the food and culture of an area really helps. Every city, town or village hosts many sweet desert shops along with bakeries for fresh bread daily. It is one lovely tradition in Greece which goes along with hospitality that is you never visit a home without a small offering which is why these sweet shops stay open every day of the year.

Kasimis Bakery also know AKA the LOVE Bakery and when you visit you will understand why!! You will love everything about the bakery, full of scrummy cakes and bakes along with super friendly staff and they ALWAYS greet you with a smile. Spyro and I have made it our coffee stop when we are in the town shopping.

On the count down to Christmas they have started to fill the shelves with these tasty Christmas Honey cookies – in Greek called  “Melomacarona” !! They are so delightful you cannot just eat one !!!!
