The Sweetest New Cafe in Athens!

On my quest to find the cutest and sweetest streets in Greece this newly opened Elysian floral cafe is top of the list. Complete with pink floral displays and pink cakes what is not love about this place and it really brings out the inner princess in us all. Elysian cafe is a little unusual for Greece and not the typical blue and white of the island taverna style cafes.

Location

Located just off the main Monistiraki square and between the metro stations of Monastiraki and Thessio it is very easy to find. We found the cafe when it was just opened in September 19 whilst on a sweets streets photo tour around the streets of Plaka. I have returned several times and watched it become a great background for influencers with its vibrant and cheerful decor.

It is the perfect place to stop and refuel before you start your walk up to the Acropolis. Stop here to get your fill of top Athens Instagram shots. Slightly different from the ancient areas but with easy access to Plaka, Acropolis and the vintage flea market of Monastiraki.

Working from home I am always on the look out for a nice friendly coffee area to sit with my laptop and catch up on work and Elysian cafe would make the perfect work hub. Working surrounded by beautiful blooms would certainly appeal to my creative side.
